Affiliate disclosure
Last updated April 21, 2026
ggrigs participates in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and affiliated marketplaces (amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, amazon.fr, amazon.it, amazon.es, amazon.ca, amazon.co.jp, amazon.com.au).
What this means in plain English
When you click a "Check on Amazon" or equivalent affiliate link on ggrigs and then make a qualifying purchase on Amazon within 24 hours, Amazon pays us a small commission. You pay nothing extra — the commission comes out of Amazon's margin, not your price.
The commission rate varies by Amazon product category, typically 1–8 %. On most gaming gear (mice, keyboards, headsets, monitors, peripherals, laptops, components) it's around 4 %.
FTC compliance
The FTC's Endorsement Guides require that material connections between reviewers and sellers be disclosed clearly and conspicuously. Our affiliate relationship with Amazon is such a connection. You will see this disclosure:
- In the footer of every page
- On a dedicated banner near every "Check on Amazon" or equivalent affiliate button
- On this dedicated disclosure page, linked from the main footer
What we don't do
- We don't get paid to feature specific products. Editorial decisions are independent of affiliate commission rates. We have no incentive to push higher-commission products over lower-commission ones, because we link to both.
- We don't hide the disclosure. Every affiliate-relevant page shows the relationship clearly.
- We don't use Amazon-tagged links in email. Amazon's Operating Agreement restricts this for non-email-approved Associates. We email readers links to our review pages, where the affiliate buttons live; we do not email tagged Amazon URLs directly.
- We don't add affiliate links to comments, community platforms, or social posts in ways that violate the respective platform's or Amazon's terms.
What Amazon doesn't endorse
ggrigs is an independent publisher. Amazon has no editorial control over our content. The Amazon name and logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Nothing on ggrigs should be interpreted as endorsement by or affiliation with Amazon beyond our participation in the Associates program.
